Hi Hawkwrithe,

welcome to the forum! The first thing that caught my eye was the nice use of complementary colours, the orange and blue really is striking. good stuff!

couple of nitpicks:

a. the petal on the right is a bit blown out, usually blowouts aren't a big deal to me, but here it draws my eye in the the green leaf in the corner.
b. The stamen things on the right side get blended in with the dark background. Maybe position the lens so they all appear in front of an orange petal?
