yep as you can see he was in the open in the middle of the day, panting like crazy, his buddy was waiting in the shade

Bryan, nice documentary shots. I have to wonder if he really took down the buffalo as it is usually the female that does all the hunting. The male just waits till its over and then moves in to take over the kill. This is a scene I have seen repeated a few times during my trips. Is this the Serengeti? Also, the male looks like a young one, maybe three to five years old(?). Just curious, that's all.
