i agree, i'd crop tighter on the first one on the top and right of image to have the flower be mostly in the upper right corner. that will bring more focus to the flower itself and not the background.
the 2nd photo is interesting, as i can't recall having seen a flower like that before. but the image is a little bit overexposed i think. the edges that are white are abit too harsh on my screen (could be not calibrated correctly) but a slightly less exposed image might have been easier on the eyes.
also dead center is ok, but might be better if it was slightly to a side or something
