I know the lighting was a little nuts, it was waaay blown out before I started playing with it... just such a cute expression I had to snap it..

Haha, the background almost looks like it was painted. I really like her expression though, just shoot it somewhere different and try to keep the lighting under control.

I like this image.
It needs some work but I actually like the unorthodox lighting.
If the highlights weren't blown out quite so bad, it would be very nice.
The painterly background is a plus IMO, the overall image has a diffuse glow thing going that would be great if you could fix the highlights.

If you re-shoot this you should try to retain the feeling of the lighting while keeping the highlights within range.
The way the light falls on her hair is what catches my eye. It's just a bit intense.

Such a cute young lady! I love the expression on her face. I am no pro by any means so at first I liked your lighting challenge and think if the highlights were not as bright on her shoulder- I would really like the rest of the lighting. Very nice.
