Hey everyone, this is my first post so "Hello"..
I recently picked up a canonet 28 from a thrift store fixed it up to working order and now i would like to try it out. only problem is i've never used a film camera in my life and have no idea if i loaded it correctly or not. I think this little red white striped window should change if it is? I honestly have no idea.. any help for this digital boy would be much appreciated.

Also i was wondering how to read/use the light meter in the viewfinder.

Damned kids!

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question with certainty because I'm not familiar with the Canonet. However, usually the back side of the film shows through the window after loading. Typically, you need to load the film onto one spool (the one without the advance mechanism) and pull enough film out of the cassette to get it started on the other spool.

It might be easier for you if you take it to a camera shop some time other than during their busy times.

I figured it out :p thanks for the link though i've been looking everwhre for a manual.
