Lonely Tracks

Vanishing point, lovely sky (2), atmospheric mood (1), funnily marked tracks ... but all in all these speak to me less than others I have commented on today have. Is it maybe because this subject has become so --- "normal"? (And I only took another photo of a railway line last week on Thursday myself, too ......... )

the tracks are lonely alright, but the frame looks somewhat empty to me.

there's a good lighting to emphasize upon the loneliness and the overhead wires tangle up into a dramatic complexity, portraying interfering crossings and confusions in nothingness. that's the strength of the image.

however, its not one of those *great* shots I would remember before going to sleep. something seems missing....
