Looking for Chicago photo class...

Hey everyone!

I just moved to chicago and im new to photography, I was wondering if anyone knew of any classes I could take. Im 16, and live in Palatine.

Well, I know there is at least one community college in each of the counties around Chicago and I'm sure they all have classes available to the general public. The two closest to where I'm at do anyway. There are also several major colleges in Chicago itself including the Art Institute.

One specialist place I recently learned about is Shoot Smarter. They have a website at www.shootsmarter.com and are located in Aurora - a bit of a drive but it's all highway.

Welcome to the area. I'm a bit of a distance from you (Near Joliet) but I think we are in the same boat as I'm also looking to take some classes. I think I'm going to enroll in a few Nikon Classes http://www.nikonschool.com/

the beginner had it right.... check out some community colleges. I visited Harper College near you and it seems like a nice school... might be worth checking out http://goforward.harpercollege.edu/page.cfm?p=1
