I looked at a bookstore and out of the two in stock I didn't see one I liked. I looked on Amazon and theres just sooo many. And the explanations and reviews arent helping like they should.
I would like a book about lighting techniques. Not for portrait but for still life/commercial work. If it had portraits or talked about it, that's ok.
I'm looking for explanations, diagrams, and glossary/definitions because sometimes I don't know what theyre talking about.
I found one book, I forget what it's called or who it's by but it was good except the author didn't explain things well. Each page was a new image and there was a diagram, and a small explanation of the image and what was used...it wasn't good enough.
I'm looking for something I can refer back to and learn from. Almost like a textbook.
Am I being unrealistic? I don' want to buy a book and kick my butt for buying one that won't help me...know what I mean jelly beans?
Thank you for any input.
