Hi all I don't know if I am aloud to do this but I live in York Pa area and am hope I may find someone who might be willing to befriend me and help me to learn to shoot and edit great pictures.

Gotcha... check out local camera clubs and photography meet-up groups in your area. There are often a lot of members who are willing to help others.
