Looking for mentor

I tried sending messages in the Mentor thread but it seems as none are going through. I have done photography for the past year now and I understand the basics of photography. I am having trouble with "finding the light" and getting my photos to the next level. I am looking for a mentor to push me but above all help me get better. I have an intrest in weddings, bridal, seniors and some kid and baby work. I usually perfer a high key upbeat style. I took a couple years of graphic design so I can decently post processess but nothing to extravagant. Here is my gear...
-T2i
-rps power zoom extrnal flash (the camera store told me it was the equivalant to the 430ex)
-EF 50mm 1.8
-EF 28mm 1.8
-EF 85mm 1.8
-Promaster 28-300 (never gets used)

I am hoping to acquire the 5d mark ii with the kit lens after January.
