Looking for on location strobe gear

Hello all,

Looking to buy a Strobe with a battery pack for on location work. I was looking at the AB1600 with the Vagabond mini! anyone have any other sugestions? not looking to spend too much. around $500 maybe?
400WS or more would be ideal with a decent battery back.

I went this route because it's about half the weight of the Vagabond. If the Vagabond mini had been around back then, I would have gotten that. I love how small it is.

There are some good options from Elinchrom...I don't know the models & options, but I'd recommend looking into them.

I use a duracell jump start with my White Lightning lights because I don't have a pack for them!
If you want budget Flashpoint (adorama) makes some awesome budget strobes with battery packs.

I use the mini and love it, it's so light!! Better then the big huge one I used to carry around!!!
