I was looking around on B&H's web site and noticed that they were showing the D700 in stock now. They have always had the D5100 and lower in stock but the D700 has been gone for several weeks. I looked on Adorama's site and they are showing the D3s and D3x, the D300, D700, and D90 apparently in stock now. I say "Apparently" since they actually show them "In Stock" but unlike some others they don't specifically state that they are out of stock. Maybe Nikon is getting caught up again.

Yeah pretty sure Nikon is getting production levels back to pre-tsunami levels.

Sendai, Japan is where Nikon produces their pro grade gear. They have had more time to restore Sendai production in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami than they have had in Thailand where they produce their consumer grade gear.
