Ah, thank you, Traveler.
This post is teaching me a new word.
Honestly, embarrassing as it might be (given my job and all), I never knew the English word for this (and therefore only NOW understand the real meaning of that clothes' label "Fruit of the Loom" :oops: ).

And it is SILK, you say?
Quite impressive.
 
This is actually Laotian silk. I saw this loom, and others, at a center for retraining minority weavers to produce better silk (grow better mulberry leaves and raise better silkworms) and weave finer silk goods.

Love the third pic!! the first one has interesting contrast, makes me want to touch the wood..is it edited?
