Hey all..

So I'm going to be shooting some video, a short film, and possible feature length on a Panasonic Lumix GH2, and I'm curious if you know of a decent but inexpensive anamorphic lens set up? I'm wondering exactly what parts I'll need to make this happen. Ideas?

Chris - the easiest way to do it is with a Panasonic LA7200 screw on adapter. Here is what it can do on the GH2:

The challenge is that Panasonic doesn't make them anymore, and they start at about $900 used on eBay.

Other options are classic anamorphic lenses from Iscorama, Lomo and Sankor. These are not quite as simple to use as the LA7200 (which screws onto your existing lenses), and usually require OCT-18, OCT-19 or M42 adapters.

Cheers,

Bill
