The recent discussion about Texas Moon reminded me that I had attempted some lunar landscapes in the past. Most didn't amount to much, but I was rather pleased with this one. It was taken with a 6" refractor and a ZWO ASI120MC-S planetary camera containing a 1.2 megapixel CMOS. The frames were processed with RegiStax 6, as I remember. I didn't own a DSLR then, but now that I do I'm thinking perhaps I should revisit this with my Canon.

That's a fine pic, Rob, love the grey tones, detail and contrast. Do some more with the Canon, I'd like to see them.

Thank you very much. I just need to pickup a T-ring and adapter and I should be good to go. I have used a DSLR for some deep-sky imaging but haven’t tried the moon. Should be fun.
