For any of you with little kids in Southern California, I highly recommend the Santa Barbara Zoo. It is small, but you are able to get very close to the animals. It is in a wonderful setting (imagine feeding a giraffe with the ocean in the background), and lots of grass and a great playground.

Thanks Designer. I chose this close crop because it accentuates a curved "line" running down his beak, and along the line of dark blue-green feathers back to his eye.

I like it! I think just a smidge more room image right wouldn't go amiss, but either way, nice shot!
