I have a quick question that a few on here may be able to answer.
70mm macro gets you 1:1.
70mm tubes on gets you 2:1
1.4 teleconverter gets you 1.4:1 (1 * 1.4)
My question comes in when you start using both. Does the magnification change based on if the TC is against the lens (after the tubes) or if it is against the body (before the tubes)?
Example:
Camera > Tubes > TC > Lens
vs
Camera > TC > Tubes > Lens
Just wondering because you get the length w/ TC by multiplying the TC by the mag......so would it be
1:1 * 1.4 or with tubes would it be 2:1 * 1.4? Does it change to one or the other based on where the TC is placed?
