Manual Controlled Compact Digital Cameras?????

I own a couple SLR cameras but find I don't bring them everywhere with me. There are times when I wish I had a little camera on me. I have decided to buy a compact digital camera. I still wish to have creative control and it is difficult to find a nice compact digital that has manual controls (PASM). I thought that the Canon Powershot S-80 would be nice but it seems as if they are discontinuing it.....new model must be coming out. Canon has a few that offer manual (PASM) exposure controls but they are the lower end AA battery type cameras.
I'm wondering if there are any photographers out there that have other reccommendations for compact cameras (that offer lithium batteries and sleek compact design) that have manual controls. The Nikon P4 seems nice but just offers Aperture priority. The Leica D-Lux 2 also seems nice but a bit pricey!
