Here I have this shot from the hotel balcony in Marco Island. Now right off the bat I'm not great at landscapes due to living in a city or at least that's the excuse I give myself. In this type of picture I had a real tough time deciding where to focus. Where would you have focused on a shot like this?

My C&C I find the ocean unattractive looking. I'm thinking after the shot that I should have used a higher f/stop.

Also I find noise but I'm not sure if a 200 Iso is the true cause of that.

Alright well here it is. I know it's a horrid shot but I found this to be the one I found most interest in improving for next landscape shots.

I see that you were undecided. IMO, make one of the ocean and boat only, and then try to get a different perspective on the umbrellas for a completely different shot, i.e.: no water included.

I see what your saying, it makes sense. Thanks for the crop

Still trying to figure out why the water doesn't look as sharp.
