Fantastic day for an auto show, so I spent about 2 hours burning up some film in the Shen Hao.

Since the cars are all parked side-by-side, taking a shot of the entire car would merely be a snapshot from a terrible angle and have the busiest backgrounds imaginable. So I concentrated on details.

One car had a drive-in motif, replete with the window tray and speaker. I took this shot under the focus cloth with my cell phone to show you what it looks like 'under the cloth' to shoot large format.

First batch of 6 negs have been souped.

They look gorgeous! Waiting for the hardware to dry to soup up the next batch, so more to come! Stay tuned.

The drive-in motif is done here a lot too. Can't wait for 4x5 prints. I still have a 4x5 I'm looking to give to someone.

Personally, I'm waiting for the 8x10s.

Negs 7-12 hanging up to dry!

Very nice. How are you converting the negatives to digital?
By the way, that camera is pretty cool. A lot lighter than my big rail camera.
