This is very nice. My only comment would be that I might have placed the bird a little more to left so that it has more "area" on the right to look back into - rule of thirds and all that. This positioning might have cropped out the flowers on the left which are a bit of a distraction. The bird is nice and sharp and you have a catch light in its eye - always a good thing.
