I got my income tax returns and so I decided to spend it on a medium format camera :D I got a Bronica SQ 6x6 body for a pretty good price.
Now I'm trying to decide what film back to get. There is an option for either 6x6 or 6x4.5. My question is: is there one that would be better to get or is it all a matter of personal taste. The lens I'm going to get (80mm f/2.8) is designed for 6x6. What will happen if I use that lens on a 6x4.5 film back?

Thanks for the help

Zach :D

It really is a matter of personal taste. But... if you go with the 6x6 back you can always do a 645 crop. I really like the square format personally.

Yeah, I like the squares too. After I shot my first roll in my Holga, I liked the squares so much I started cropping a bunch of my 35mm stuff to square too!

Awesome Thanks for info guys, Just put my bid down for the 6x6 back!
