Memory Cards...*Maybe wrong section*

Hi everyone. I think I've found the right section to post this in...Please, bear with me! I've never posted before. :mrgreen:

I'm just wondering if anyone can help me choose a memory card for a Nikon D3000. I've looked on the review websites and found the user manual online, but haven't found much information on memory cards. I don't want to buy the wrong one and have to wait to use my camera - it's already going to be a long wait to get it! Any D3000 users out there? If possible, provide the "shelf name" of the memory card! I'm very amateur at this.

Just stick to the Lexar, Sandisk top named brands and you will do fine. Look at page 177 of the user manual and it will tell you the speed that they recommend.

+2 on read your users manual for a list of approved cards.

As I understand it the D3000 users manual is on one of the discs that came with the camera, and is not included as a hard copy.
