Memphis zoo shots

Here's a few of my favorite shots from the Memphis Zoo. I'm still learning to shoot animals. Anticipating movement and finding the right light has been tough for me.

Awe I love panda bears. I wish we had some at our zoo. I am guessing you had to shoot your Polar Bear through glass as we do at ours also and I get the same look. It's very nice but it gives the bear a strange color or something. Good job on these. :thumbup:

Oh wow, a giant panda!!! Not many zoos have 'em. Nice picture of it

Yeah, we are VERY lucky to have our pandas. And I got lucky to catch that panda outside and awake! It seems every time I go they're sleeping.

Our polar bears have a huge enclosure, but the only way to catch them in the water is through glass which does give it a weird tint. Hopefully next time I can catch one of the polar bears sunning or something.

CFR, if you can make the time to go, this is the beset time of year to do it. I find while it's still cool the animals will spend more time outdoors. Let me know what you shoot!
