Milky Way over Cabazon

Went for an over nighter with the wife last night to shoot the Milky Way at Cabazon Peak, NM. Hre are a couple.

I happened to find it on Google Earth - I was scanning the area for interesting shot locations, otherwise I'd have never known it was there.

This picture is of Cabazon peak at sunset, right after a front had passed through. We got out there about an hour before sunset when it was still pretty cloudy. I was glad that most of the clouds had cleared out by the time the Milky Way was visible.
