Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I'm wanting to try my first milky way shot here soon, and i'm confused on if I should do a long single exposure or stack. I have a tracker I can use. I'm afraid if I do a single long exposure I might get more light pollution, but if I stack will I be able to get the same amount of detail? Here is my equipment, if any of you could give me some tips on the settings I should use. Thanks a lot!

Camera- Olympus OMD EM10 micro 4/3
Lens - Rokinon 12mm f/2.0
Star tracker- Star adventure

Not sure on using a tracker, But I'd say a single expo in a very, very dark place at around ISO3200 / 2.8 to start, don't shoot longer than 8-12 seconds (avoid star trails) and adjust from there, If you can set your tracker then do so and take multiple 8 seconds exposures and compile to reduce noise, Worth also shooting a foreground shot at longer exposure (if you have interesting foreground) and combing them inn post.

But there are way more qualified people here that can offer advice re: tracker etc...
