Millbrook Village

Millbrook Village is located in New Jersey and is a small village that recreates the way people lived just before 1900. It is a very interesting and fun place as well as educational. It is maintained by volunteers who also dress up and teach visitors about different aspects of life from that time period.
All photos were taken with a D90. Hope you enjoy and as always C&C is welcome.

1,2,3,7,8 were taken with a Tamron 10-24mm

4,5,6 were taken with a 50mm 1.8

Sometimes when I am creating PPT presentations, I will resize the photo for various reasons. Sometimes I will pull the photo top-bottom, or left-right. This changes the shape of the subject, more or less depending upon how far the photo has been manipulated.


A couple shots of the houses and of the door do not look in proportion. They seem tall compared to normal width.

Oh ok. The distortion comes from the use of the wide angle lens. This wasnt done during PP.
