The above shot done with Nikon d3400 DSLR, took two exposures full color RAW. The shot did not come out as good as I had expected so I blended the two exposures in Photoshop cc using an extension called Raya Pro 3 using the Quick blend. Then I converted to monochrome and did some burning in. Also zoomed in a bit and cropped to the zoom.

Nicely done, I like the the repetition reflection of the trees.

. I have seen the Mighty Muddy and it's color is not pretty, lol.

I'd have to disagree with you Dean, as it depends on circumstances. I grew up not far from it, and was a river rat in my early years. I would be terrified to run it in the same small Jon boat today, but I still enjoy just watching it. It's so big that it's a little like the "can't see the forest for the trees" axiom. Once you look more closely there is beauty to be found everywhere. I have a large print hanging on the wall, taken at daybreak from the observation platform at Caruthersville, MO. The colors are fantastic. From fiery orange to deep murky blues and greens, the river looks as if it's alive.
