This young lady decided to lay her eggs right in the middle of our gravel parking lot at work.

The stick was placed beside her nest when we found her (to avoid cars running over her). I was about a foot away from her when I took these pictures.

Yes, she is still there...but when I tried to lay on the ground, she would take off and act injured. I was real close for these, I'm just glad she stayed put long enough. I might try again when I go back to work.

Just lie still & wait!

She's gonna come back sometime & you'll be long forgotten to her by then!

(Just put a stick in the ground near yourself first! )
