More lens help

I want to get a little more zoom out of my N55 and a little more versatility.. I also want to get a fisheye lens. I keep seeing for example the fisheye lens on ebay for $34.99 and it says .42x, and a 2x af lens for about the same price. are these ok to buy as a beginner or am I wasting my money. Keep in mind I don't have much money being a college student and I'm not ready to jump into the hundreds of dollars that quality lens' cost.

Those cheap 'fish-eye lenses' are nothing more than filters or adaptors...meant for digi-cams. They are a far cry from an actual fish-eye lens. I suppose they can give you a different view...which may be fun...and for only $40...it may be worth it...but don't expect great image quality.

Make sure that it will fit onto a lens that you currently have for your camera.

It will increase the magnification of the subject and reduce image quality.
