Inspired by Glenn's images of his trip to Newfoundland ... and by Brent's comment ... I thought I would show what it was like in a blind on Machias Seal Island. It sits at the bottom of the Bay of Fundy in Canada ... though the US seems to think its theirs ... not much there except a research station and a lot of birds ... Puffins, Auks, Razorbills, Terns

Canon New F-1 with FD 50mm lens, Fuji Velvia 100 ... this was 17+ years ago.
I remember having to conserve shots as I only had 10 rolls of film with me for the entire trip to the island.

I even took some shots with my 28mm of some Puffins that were sitting about 5 ft in front.
I really have to go back with my digital setup ... though I would need to get some 512GB cards and a bucket of batteries.

Cool. Just by the amount of crap on the rocks you can tell it gets tons of birds.
