This I took before we even got on board, while we were still walking the pier in the morning.

The mast of our ship (cf. www.hansekogge.de ) before we had set sail...

A little play with black+white turned to sepia (would that be "duotones"?)

And upon returning at 5:30 in the afternoon, the sky had become brilliantly blue, so on walking back to the car park, I had the chance to get these two:

Wow, nice!

Especialy like #5, and the blue in the last two is just awsome!

Nice to see they still keep those old ships sailing

Anyone else interested in looking at sailing ships, or their masts, or whatnot?
I still want to know if a b+w conversion that then was turned into sepia is called a "duotone"?

These are awesome shots. I love the sepia pic. All are amazing LaFoto!!!

love the whole series, i think that you could not have chosen a better image to convert as #6 nice work.

What good work, LaFoto. I'm afraid I can't answer your question about the duotone; I am not well versed in Photoshop-speak. ;) Hopefully someone who is will be able to answer that for you.

Fabulous work with #6, whatever you want to call it. ;) I also like your composition in #4, 5 as well as 6.

Nice grouping, thanks for posting! :)
