These are VERY nice! I can't decide which one I like better. This just furthers my assertion that Texans are just plain better than ev'ryone else. *ducks*

thanks you guys, spiral, i must say that is a dangerous subject there. we could have a harsh tPF vs. TPF debate on that one ;)

aprilraven, i actually think my entry for the abstract contest might have been a little too abstract :D

Nice macros . the second really pops IMO. Nice contrast and DOF.

The second one is wonderful and I think it does work really well in black and white. The DOF is perfect.

I like them a lot! I have a photo like the second one on a roll I just sent in to developing (as far as I remember)!

thanks yall!

yeah eric these shots are fun to take, i didnt try it on film though. you should post yours when it comes in!

I think both of these are great. The first one is nice b/c you see so much of a reflection in the droplet. The second is nice b/c the droplets are so large they look like marbles going down a slide. Really cool on both!

i love these shots. i would never have thought b&w would work well, but you certainly pulled it off. well done!

The first one looks like a mini globe. It's a ball of water, but seems to have texture. It's cool.

I like the dof in the second to. The way it leads your eye.
