From my trip to the Dam a couple weeks back, it was extremely foggy and misty, but I think I recovered it nicely.

Just wanted to share, C/C always welcomed.

Not too bad... but the fog/mist seems to just over-power the image. Too much, for me.

I agree, but I got my butt out of bed at 4am to get this shot so I'm going to share it dammit :D hahahha

I will be making another trip back once the water level drops a bit.

Oh I know the feeling. Definitely a shot here, just not this one.

This was the other one I came back with, on the other side of the dam. You can really tell how foggy it was.

Darn fog.. It's a nice spot, though!

Love the picture from the other side of the dam!

Have you ever tried a .6 or .9 Graduated Neutral Density Filter to hold back the sky so you can get the detail in the foreground? Highlights in both shots are blown, more so in the first, but obvious in both. Last one Is just too blueish for me.

Yeah I have both, .6 and .9 and for some reason I did not use them here. Not sure why.

Maybe since it was so dark and I would have gone a lot longer on my shutter? I'm not sure.

But I do agree with the sky being blown. Darn!

What about an HDR here?
