Mountain Greetings

We'd just driven 40 or so minutes and I was hungry for a cigarette before we started trekking to our chosen spot, we pulled up in the car, stepped out and marvelled at the sky immediately. As we were driving we couldn't see the stars, as we climbed we thought the morning would be a washout. Above 1500m it revealed itself and here; around 1800m we parked, got out and I demanded we have a cigarette, partially for my craving and partially because I knew I wanted to take a couple of shots; this is one of them, I know it's a little noisy but as I have said before, we didn't go with a plan to shoot the stars... there's always next time..

Thanks, I was concerned it was too dark but I think the silhouette works too
