I've just bought the Canon EOS 550d (or Rebel T2i or something in the states). I bought mostly because I want to make shortmovies. I'm a beginner by the way.
The still photos I have taken so far are stunning. However, the filmcapturing has proven troublesome. I have a 8 gb, class 10 memorycard at the moment. When i filmed at max resolution it just stopped filming, and at 720p and 60fps I can film without problems, however, when I am to watch it on my computer it's totally laggy and the picture quality is far from great.
Do you suppose this is because of some hardware issues on my computer (a not too old one, but not the latest) or may it be the memory card or even perhaps my own incompetence? (hoping for the last one, cheapest to sort out ;-) )
