Mp4 Video editor

I have some video and I just want to quickly and without paying cut bits out of it and save the edited file, using Windows.
Any recommendation on what software to use?

Have you tried Movie Maker by Windows? That might work for you and it's free. There's a "cut" command.

I use the movie maker program and it is limited to what it can do.

I have been looking at DaVinci Resolve lately. Most of these programs have online video tutorials on YouTube. This is a 16 min. tutorial for DaVinci Resolve:
