Murky Portrait

I've been trying to get a 'real grainy' black and white pic for a project sorted.

Quite like this one! But am unsure about any cropping!

I guess you could crop out the light to her right and just bit of the top resulting in a medium format look. It would also set her off to the right in keeping with the thirds rule. Other than that, I don't know. I like the grainy look.
