Critque accepted. :)

wow!! These are great! My favourite has to be the keyboard one.... I'm actually about to post some pics I took last night of a band... the colours of your shots really are great!! Nice work :)

i like them all except the first because it's too busy and the second because it looks like a product photo I think.

Nice work.

Hmm.. What band is this? Mapex ProM-series = expensive.
You captured the motion on stage very beautiful.. (y)

hahaha... i see someone's been having fun with their 50mm!!

I love them all. Especially the first on with the drums, for the exact same reason that Daniel doesn't like it. I love how busy it is and how shiny everything is! (yes i'm such a girl ;-) )

Number 2 is great... although there's not much detail on the keyboards, so it doesn't hold my attention all that long.

Number 3 works better with its lack of detail I think. If there was heaps of detail in that guitar then it'd be too messy with all the detail in the carpet and pedals.

Number 4 - my boyfriend would drool over for hours. He's such a gear head.

Number 5 - I love the tiered cymbals look.

Unfortunately numbers 6 and 7 don't really do it all that much for me. I think the Dof's really distracting in the last. but overall I loved the whole series! Looks like you had heaps of fun there!
I get all self conscious when I'm photographing Adrian's band when they practise... coz they all watch me. :blushing: And I think they get a bit annoyed. Meh. When I make them millions by having kick ass album art, they'll thank me. hehehe.

Shots 2 and 6 were shot freehand so it explains the lack of detail - i've got lousy hands.

Foffen: they're a coverband that lace all their songs with funk, and i've clocked up a few hours on that particular drumkit - very smooth sound. :)

I'm sorry if the pictures aren't razor-sharp, I have very poor eyesight and focusing in low light is very difficult for someone like me. :( I should've explained that in my intro thread. Anyways, i was shoving people out of the way to get these photos (they were all drunk) and i'm elated with what I managed to get. :)

I'll also mention mention that I accumilated an apprentice during my night, I handed the camera over to the guitarist's sister and she shot around 255 photos! I've already put a photo of her in the portrait section, she did some extremely good works and I said i'd see her at the camera shop soon.
