Did this one real quick before the show was over. Tight crop due to it being a car show.

Nice! A little halo going on around the car though.

More the opposite, added vignetting to it, looks like i forgot to fix the area in front of the bumper.

Great processing dude Love the sky and the contrast to the car... Two thumbs up in my book.

One nitpick is what the heck is going on each side of the car? it looks like some blur and cloning work...thats the part that kills it for me but, the rest is superb!

Lots of powerlines and distracting buildings. On my monitor calibrated to the brightness of my printer its just a dark spot but on my laptop you can see the bad clone work. Apologies :)

Love the effect of the black asphalt and gorgeous sky against the white car.

Nice shot.

He is talking about the Halo effect surrounding the car from pushing the files limits in color/clarity/layers processing. It's the hard thing about HDR, almost always a halo problem. The sky is beautiful how ever.

And I'm saying that before I applied the 3 different vignetting processes that I apply to most of my car images that "halo" doesn't exist. I don't get Halos from HDR images because I don't stylize in any of the HDR programs.

Here is the HDR tonemapped image I export from Photomatix without the vignetting:

It's mostly sloppy editing as this is a car show not a photoshoot, not spending a ton of time when all I'm printing is 4x5 for my album and facebook.

Hey you have a great shot of the car. Its easy to put your camera in the same position with a nice background and drop the car in it. A little too gray looking for a white paint job in the original posted.

According to the owner it is original paint which actually has yellowed over the years quite a bit, I did my best to remove that.

I see the vignetting, but there is a slight bit of white halo around the car in several places...it doesn't extend much, maybe a millimeter or two, but I see it...at least on this end. The tarmac under the car looks different than all the rest around it...something about the texture of it.

These are very, very slight nitpics because it isn't glaring. The overall image is pretty frickin awesome.

I also see the same HALO effect. It isn't bad, just distracting. Would you mind telling us what monitor your editing on?
