My 17-35mm f2.8 AF motor is borked :(

So it borked last night during a shoot at a night club. I don't know what to do? Should I just sell it as is? Or send it to Nikon to fix it?

Send it in. I just got mine back and it was $430.... focus motor as well as helicoid key, roller/guide ring and an FPC (whatever that is).

Nikon will give you a 6-mo warranty. You'll also get back a 'refurbished' lens... so it's basically almost like new!
