I would post the image itself but I didn't want to jack your thread. Here's a few I did from a similar bridge. Instead of getting lower, I'm probably going to go back with a step ladder. EDITED TO LINK SHOTS.

My thoughts exactly. Even to the point of putting the camera just a few inches off the ground (or even on the ground).
