I consider myself very lucky to live where I do, roughly 10 miles from Glacier National Park. From my base, I can head in any direction and be bound to see something to photograph: Hungry Horse Reservoir to the East, the North Fork of the Flathead River to the West. Here are a few of my favorites:

Like #1 the most, did you thing about a panorama crop, never seen a wild goat before in the wild cool catch and your right that is a nice area; spend few days road tripping thru Glacier 6 years ago

Do I assume right when I think that Photos 1 - 3 are scanned prints? Whereas 4 was taken with a digital camera?

Did you use a flash to photograph the Indian Paintbrush?
I like its colour, and I love the colour that surrounds it :lovey: : GREEN ! Ahhh! :D

2 and 3 were scanned, 1 and 4 are from my digital. I'm not sure why on 2 it looks a little blurred, but usually you can tell my prints because of the date stamp (the wife likes it to keep photos in order, i hate it because its a hassle to crop out)

For the paintbrush, I can't recall if I used the flash or not. The one good thing I can say about the HP Photosmart735 is that it does very good shots when in Macro mode. Pretty much everything else about it is miserable :(

The baby goat and I played "tag" for about 20 minutes before I could get a good enough shot. That and I think daddy goat was getting a little tired of it and finally walked off.
