Thanks. I almost missed this shot ... the Chickadee was just 8ft in front of me and I had the focus limiter on. I am fortunate enough to have a high deck and trees within 20ft, so I am at bird level. I have taken more pictures of small birds than in all the time that I've had my digital camera.
The only cropping I did on this shot was to make it square.

NICE capture!!! I love the way the BCC is just hangin' around, takin' life as it comes! The bird's odd body positioning really sets this shot apart.

Yeah, I think it was trying to figure out the strange standing thing with one big eye was doing.
