What do you think? What can I do better?

This kind of high kontrast/silhuette is pictures that I nearly almost like. Some of my favorite shots are silhuettes. I really like the idea behind this shot as well, thought there are some small adjustments that I would have done.
#1. - I would have liked it a tad better if you didn't crop out parts of the pole (word?).
#2. - The white area behind his ear is somehow a distraction to me. Maybe its only me, but I would have edited that to being all black in PS.

You did a great job anyway. It's very artsy, and would fit excellent on a fishermans wall.

Nice shot, I would just include the pole next time for better composition.

That's what I am thinking, too: the entire fishing rod, maybe even including the line would have helped.

But apart from this, I really like your photo here.

The first comment here is what I think, white spot by the ear annoys me, and I would love to see the whole pole. Other than that, great shot!
