Number one seems too dark and a bit of it's paw is chopped off, however I love the detail and color on the second shot.

Some simple photoshop editing can make the first one better.

Number two is great. Next time, have your subject turn his head more toward the camera and perhaps smile a bit more. :mrgreen:

Actually, the background pulls the green out in his eye. That is why I mention getting both eyes in the shot.
