Hello,

I had not done this before, so I thought I could give it a try.

I took some close-ups of flowers in my apartment's park. I played a little bit with the exposure compensation to get the best pictures. It was noon, and the sun was really hot.

It was done using a Canon Digital Rebel, with the 18-55mm lens.

Well, these were the first pictures. Send your comments

Fairly good pics, they need a bit of cropping in my opinion, I would get rid of some of the the uninteresting black on the left hand side of #1.
I would crop #2 just over halfway down to get rid of the mostly uninteresting blur.

Muy buenas fotos ;)

que efecto de photoshop te permite poner el fondo negro, como en la primer foto?

Saludos.

Monster2005:

No he retocado las fotos, así salieron de la cámara.

Harry99: Thank you for your comments. I'll try to crop them to get rid of non-interesting parts.

Re: #2 - That blur really puts me off the photo. And the stem of the dandilion is blurred with the background.

Re: #1 - I like it and don't think it needs cropped as the black emphasises the yellow brightness of the flower. However, I would like it more if the green parts were darkened into the black more.
