My first favorite dog pic

I posted this one in the welcome area, but found out it should be over here. This is my first decent dog picture that I have gotten.

It is lovely ... but I find it a bit on the bright part. I believe there is more in this photo than shows just now (and hey: you straightened this one, good). You had the on-camera flash fire for this one, right?

I think it was on autoflash. I honestly dont know the differences between the choices I have...

I know red eye is supposed to reduce red eye obviously, and leaving the flash off are my only other options. I should get the manual for this camera and see what some of the other settings are for.

I was just adjusting the brightness and contrast with the pic in PS and by turning the brightness down and the contrast up it looks much better to me
