My First HDR

Check the 2nd reply for the second HDR attempt

I might go out tomorrow morning and try real HDR. Right now I just took an old RAW that I can work with and used Photomatix. I just wanted to know what I'm dealing with. I'm not that satisfied, but hopefully I'll get something I like and share another one.

Looks interesting but IME you really need to bracket your exposures to truly experience the full dynamic range and resultant tone mapping possibilities. Go for it!

I didn't want to create because I start new threads a lot. Here's my second attempt.

1- here is my first try with the 3 pics.

2- here is the 2nd. i like this better overall. only beef is the composition. i dont really like the top right(tree/leaves)

Here you'll find the 5 pics, the first three is the original(used bracketing).

Whoa. This is not "over the top", it looks like "double, over the top". Don't get me wrong. It is pretty neat looking. It is just a little too wild for my tastes. Keep on working on it.
