My first Macro shots

I just picked up a Tokina 100mm f/2.8 lens and shot some stuff around the house. I am going to play with it more this weekend when I have time but here are my first few macro shots.

Creepy cool! Nice lens, your going to have lots of fun with it. Are those your pets?

Thank you, yes. the first is a Rosehair taratula, the second is an American Alligator skull that I skeletonized & mounted and the last is the is a chaco golden knee tarantula.

Also, C&C is always welcome. I know these are far from perfect so any tips or tricks to shooting macro are greatly appreciated.
